Personalization

It is our goal to assist our families in creating a memorable service by keeping an open mind and allowing them to express their emotions. We encourage families to personalize with such things as music during visitations and funerals (our funeral home is equipped with a professional Bose sound system throughout), placing memorabilia such as golf clubs, fishing poles, afghans, scrap books, etc., hiring a bagpiper and more.  The list here can be endless and creative as the family would like it to be.  We have come up with a few suggestions, many which are unique to our funeral home that we can assist in creating this type of environment.

We are proud to have available Video Tributes; this video consists of 30-40 pictures representing different eras of a life. Our video tribute is a unique way to memorialize one’s life. This DVD can be played in any DVD player and can serve as a keepsake for your family. We have two DVD monitors that will play these videos throughout the visitation and funeral. Additional copies can be made.

We also offer a picture collage card. A sample of this can be viewed at the bottom of this page. It is a collage made up of about 7 pictures on the front side, on the reverse side; this keepsake can be personalized with any verse or prayer of the family’s choice. These usually take the place of a traditional prayer card or memorial folders.
Another way to create a unique and personal experience is create poster size collages depicting key moments in one’s life.  We will provide large easels to display such collages and encourage families to personalize in this way.  Not only is this a joy for others to look at, it can be a therapeutic time before a final goodbye.

We also provide a complimentary Life Journey Candle.  These candles represent a life by displaying pictures on up to four sides and create a warm welcoming to family and friends as they come to visit their loved one. In addition, this candle burns clean and for 100 hours.  Additional candles can be made.  A sample of this candle can be viewed the bottom of this page.

In addition to our state of the art Bose Sound System throughout our facility, we are IPOD and MP3 compatible.  We have an extensive library of hymns and instrumental recordings that may be used and we would be able to accommodate any music provided by the family to interject their own touch. This is possible for any type of service chosen.
The experience does not have to stop there.  Caskets, Vaults and Urns as well can be personalized.  The options so numerous that we could not begin to list them.  Please call or email any requests at any time and we can help in this area.

An even more personal and private way to memorialize a loved one is to create a Legacy Pendant. We discovered this company in our endeavor to set ourselves apart from other funeral homes.  This company has been in business for generations and offers a high quality product with an outstanding reputation. This is a pendant with a picture or fingerprint that can be worn as a necklace and be passed down as an heirloom.  These options are many.  A sample of a pendant can be viewed at the bottom of this page.  This is an option we offer families at any time.  These pendants can be ordered at the time of arrangement or long past.
